Maybe you went into the doctor’s office or hospital and got a new diagnosis. Or maybe your doctor told you it’s time to make some changes to prevent future disease. The problem is, no one ever took the time to explain what exactly you need to do. While you have a basic understanding of what’s happening, you don’t know what to expect next, or how to manage your condition. That’s where I come in. I’m here to help explain and help you figure out your next steps.
Often all you need to do is start with one small change and everything else will follow. I’m here with you to discover and start that change.

Most people know what they should do to stay healthy: eat well, stay active, manage stress, and keep up with medical routines. The challenge is often figuring out how to make those changes fit into real life. That’s where I can help.
As an occupational therapist who has worked with older adults throughout my career, I have seen the realities of aging. Aging doesn’t mean that you can’t do things, just that the way you do them might look different than it used to for you. My focus is on helping you maintain your health and independence by finding practical, meaningful ways to support the life you want to live.
I use a collaborative, person-centered approach rooted in motivational interviewing, a proven method for supporting positive change. Together, we identify what matters most to you, explore what’s getting in the way, and build strategies that actually work in your daily life. Whether your goal is to maintain strength, manage a chronic condition, or simply feel more in control of your health, I’ll help you find the “how” that fits you.
Chronic Condition Self Management
Living with a chronic condition can be overwhelming. Often, the diagnosis comes suddenly, with very little explanation of what it means or what comes next. While doctor’s may run through a long list of recommendations, most people are left wondering where to actually start. That’s where I can help.
As an occupational therapist, I work with you to build practical, sustainable routines that support your health without taking over your life. Living with a chronic condition can leave you feeling like your days are dictated by symptoms, appointments, and limitations. My role is to help you regain a sense of control by developing strategies that fit your life and allow you to move forward with greater confidence and ease.
